Let me take you down memory lane when life was full of vigour
and idealism - when you and I were young carefree and happy! The 60s was
the dawning of the Age of Aquarius – a visionary journey taking mankind
onto the sought after destinations of universal peace, harmony and love.
The program is presented in three parts: peace, harmony and love.
The first part presents the 60s ideal of peace being the “only
battle worth waging,” and how this became the mantra of the decade’s
peace and anti-war movements.
The second part presents the quest for racial and cultural
harmony. Harmony requires deep appreciation and
respect of the unique features and contributions of each of the
world’s cultural heritage.
The last part presents the 60’s unique conception of love. The
60s was an anti-establishment movement which
rejected materialism through love for one’s fellowmen.
